- the bungalow of Nicolas Roerich - a leading 20th century Russian painter of international repute
- the Roerich art gallery, consisting of paintings by Nicholas and his son Svetoslav's paintings and
- the Himalayan Folk Arts Museum - featuring a collection of artifacts and paintings representing the region's folk culture
